Youth Protection Policy
Aratool (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") establishes and implements the following Youth Protection Policy in accordance with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc., and the Youth Protection Act. This policy aims to protect youths from harmful online information and ensure a safe and healthy web environment.
Article 1 (Restriction and Management of Information Harmful to Youth)
- Restriction of Harmful Information: The Company utilizes various measures, including technical controls, to prevent the distribution of information harmful to youth. Content that may negatively impact minors—such as sexually explicit, violent, or gambling-related material—will be immediately deleted, hidden, or restricted upon discovery.
- Indication of Harmful Content: In accordance with relevant laws, media or information designated as harmful to youth is restricted. Users must complete an adult verification process to prove they are 19 years of age or older to access such content.
- Filtering and Monitoring: The Company operates a filtering system to block harmful content and continuously monitors website posts and comments through designated administrators.
Article 2 (Service Operations for Youth Protection)
- Age Verification upon Registration: Users undergo an age verification process during sign-up. For minors requiring parental or legal guardian consent, the Company guides them through and enforces the mandatory consent procedures.
- Paid Service Restrictions: To prevent minors from making indiscriminate online purchases, the Company establishes spending limits or enforces mandatory parental/legal guardian consent in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Healthy Web Environment: To ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all users, including youth, activities such as defamation, profanity, threats, or any inappropriate postings are strictly prohibited. Violators may face service restrictions.
Article 3 (Education and Systems for Youth Protection)
- Personnel Training: The Company conducts regular youth protection training for its information technology and service operators. This ensures they are fully aware of and comply with relevant laws and management guidelines.
- User Reporting System: The Company provides an accessible reporting feature so that any user who discovers harmful information can report it easily. All reports are reviewed and handled swiftly.
- User Guidance: Users who engage in actions harmful to youth will receive warnings or face account restrictions to prevent recurrence.
Article 4 (Designated Youth Protection Officer)
The Company designates a Youth Protection Officer to oversee all matters related to youth protection, including establishing protection policies and managing the restriction of harmful information.

Article 6 (Amendments to the Policy)

This policy shall take effect on April 25, 2023.
